Non Hazardous Muck Away

Stable non-reactive hazardous waste is more commonly known as non-hazardous muck away.

Inert and hazardous wastes have to conform to a WAC test (Waste Acceptance Criteria). There are no WAC tests or standards for the treatment of non-hazardous muck away before it goes to landfill. However, non-hazardous muck away is divided into two landfill tax bands, standard rate and lower rate. The amount of tax you pay is determined by the level of contaminant.

Wherever possible, we will work with you to evaluate which method of waste disposal is best for you. Our goal is to minimise the amount that goes to landfill and as a result, reduce the overall removal and disposal.

Around the UK, we work alongside an established network of landfill operators. So, to discuss your non-hazardous muck away, call our experienced in house team who will advise you of the best option.
